This programme focuses on the protection of children in the aftermath of the war in Gaza in 2014, facing major challenges of a protracted crisis. The objective is to ensure the well-being and continued development of the most vulnerable children in Gaza in the aftermath of the war. The two main activities are:
• An interim care center to care for unaccompanied children, children separated from their families, or children living in bad situations after the war.
• Emergency family support, similar to our family strengthening programme, for the most vulnerable cases in Gaza.
The project aims to prevent more children from being permanently separated from their biological families.
