Why do we need your support today?
SOS Children's Villages provides vital support to families through various interventions, including urgent cash assistance for registered families following a thorough case assessment. This assistance is disbursed via electronic wallets and digital banking systems operating in Gaza, allowing beneficiaries to purchase essential goods available in the local market.
To date, SOS Children's Villages has reached over 13,000 individuals through this intervention. Additionally, the organization provides full-time care for dozens of children from Gaza and the West Bank at the SOS Children's Village in Bethlehem and within our dedicated program in the Gaza Strip.
Together, we saved Marah!
Marah entered the SOS Children's Villages Rafah program for unaccompanied and separated children when she was just six months old, and now she is a year and a half old. From the moment of her arrival, Marah was facing complex health challenges, which affected her ability to balance and play freely like other children. Through inclusive care, which included appropriate healthy nutrition, continuous medical care, and therapy sessions, her condition began to improve significantly. Today, Marah has overcame many of these challenges. Now, she can walk confidently to live her childhood freely. This story reflects the commitment of SOS Children's Villages Palestine, to its humanitarian mission of caring for unaccompanied children separated from their families, in this case due to war, by providing a safe and supportive environment that contributes to meeting their basic needs, ensuring that they receive the necessary care. So, they reach a point where they can live in peace and regain their normal life within a loving and stable family.
