The role of recreational activities in enhancing children's recovery in Gaza

Recreational activities are not just playtime; they provide a space for healing, building confidence, and restoring childhood. In times of crisis, supporting children goes beyond providing basic needs—it extends to psychosocial and emotional care, helping them recover, cope, and overcome challenges.

According to SOS Children's Villages' feedback, 99% (10,567 out of 10,695) of children who participated in interactive recreational activities expressed satisfaction with the activities. They also reported an increased sense of safety and self-confidence after taking part.
