Call for applications: Rise & Help Program of the Global Scholarship Program

Who are we looking for?

Highly motivated young individuals such as yourself, based in Palestine, who are passionate about making a difference in their communities: 

·        Between 18 and 30 years old.

·        Based in West Bank (Bethlehem , Hebron)

·        Have secured a volunteer position (non-employment) to address a social issue they are passionate about, or which focuses on any of the following topics:

o   Fighting poverty
o   Child and Youth Care
o   Access to healthcare, education, or safety
o   Advancing children’s and youth rights and participation
o   Girls’ Rights
o   Climate change


·        Belong to one of the following categories:

  • High school graduate planning to start or defer university, tertiary, or voluntary training to engage in civic activities for one year.
  • Current student (high school, university, or vocational) seeking a one-year break to explore career paths through civic engagement or volunteer part-time alongside studies.
  • Young professional (recent graduate with up to two years of experience) wanting to take time off work to reflect on career goals through civic engagement.
  • Come from a low-income background.

What we offer?

  • Grant funding to cover one-year voluntary civic engagement.
  • A chance to gain professional and leadership skills through hands-on work with a social or community-based organization of your choosing in your home country.
  • The opportunity to contribute to change in a cause that is close to your heart.
