As part of the Palestine Investment Fund’s efforts in the field of corporate social responsibility, and in support of initiatives that empower the most vulnerable families, the Fund has provided support to SOS Children’s Villages Palestine in the southern West Bank. The support targets several families facing difficult economic conditions and aims to establish income-generating projects led by women who are the primary breadwinners. This initiative strengthens the role of women in supporting their families and provides children with a more stable and secure environment.

The selected families were chosen following an assessment conducted by the Family Strengthening Program at SOS Children’s Villages, which evaluated income levels, social conditions, and the families’ ability to implement a sustainable economic project. This support is expected to improve the families’ standard of living, enhance their economic resilience, and positively impact the health, education, and daily quality of life of their children.

During a visit by a delegation from the organization to the Palestine Investment Fund, Ghada Hirzallah, National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Palestine, said:
"We express our sincere appreciation to the Fund for this generous collaboration and vital support, which gives families a real opportunity to build a more stable future. This investment in struggling families reflects a genuine commitment to supporting the most vulnerable groups and has a tangible impact on improving the lives of the children we serve."

For her part, Ms. Rania Maree, Director of Institutional and Community Affairs at the Palestine Investment Fund, said:
"This support aligns with the Fund’s strategy to empower various segments of Palestinian society, especially the most disadvantaged groups. This year, the Fund has supported around 100 community organizations across all governorates, including Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip. Through its corporate social responsibility program, the Fund ensures support for diverse community initiatives, especially those implemented by SOS Children’s Villages, in addition to initiatives focused on supporting and economically empowering women."
