The team ran under the slogan “Running for Children” to confirm their ongoing commitment to supporting children and promoting their right to a safe and stable life.

Around 40 employees, volunteers, caregivers, and children from the National Office, Bethlehem Programme, and the evacuated Gaza Programme took part in the event. The participation carried a special humanitarian spirit, particularly with children from Gaza joining alongside children from Bethlehem and various areas across the West Bank.

The team also organized interactive and recreational activities for children and participating families at a dedicated booth corner along the marathon route, in cooperation with the volunteer youth group “Seen”.

This participation reflects the message of SOS Children’s Villages Palestine in supporting children and promoting hope and solidarity through sports. The organization also expressed its appreciation to the Palestine International Marathon management and the Palestinian Higher Council for Youth and Sports for organizing this important community and humanitarian event and for giving children the opportunity to share messages of hope and solidarity through sports.
