SOS Children’s Villages Palestine holds its regular Town Hall meeting for staff in the West Bank and Gaza Strip

SOS Children’s Villages Palestine held a joint meeting bringing together staff from both the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, aiming to strengthen communication between different teams and to review the latest updates, achievements, and challenges related to programs and services provided to children and families.

The National Director, Mrs. Ghada Hirzallah, opened the meeting with a speech in which she expressed her appreciation for the staff’s efforts and their continued commitment despite the difficult circumstances faced by Palestinian society. She emphasized that people are the organization’s true capital and that belief in the humanitarian mission is the foundation of success and continuity. She also extended special thanks to the teams in Gaza and the West Bank, recognizing their resilience and their continued delivery of services to children and families amid growing challenges.

The meeting included presentations of several organizational updates, including the expansion of programs and services, and progress in launching the Northern Project in the northern governorates of the West Bank, particularly Nablus. It also highlighted the importance of capacity building and making use of available training and professional development opportunities for staff.

In addition, the meeting featured interventions from staff members, new colleagues, and caregivers from both the West Bank and Gaza Strip, who shared their experiences, success stories, and daily challenges. They emphasized the importance of cooperation, transparency, and teamwork in serving children and families.

The meeting concluded with a confirmation of SOS Children’s Villages Palestine’s commitment to further developing its quality services and strengthening a supportive and stable work environment for its staff, contributing to the fulfillment of its humanitarian mission toward Palestinian children and families.
