The Arab Islamic Bank and SOS Children’s Villages Palestine signed a Memorandum of Understanding to sponsor a family home at SOS Children’s Village and support struggling families within Palestinian society.
The agreement was signed at the bank’s headquarters in Ramallah, in the presence of the General Manager of the Arab Islamic Bank, Mr. Hani Nasser, and the National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Palestine, Mrs.Ghada Hirzallah, along with a number of managers from both sides.
This cooperation comes as part of the Arab Islamic Bank’s commitment to its corporate social responsibility role, by supporting children deprived of parental care and families in greatest need, thereby contributing to strengthening social protection and reinforcing values of solidarity and mutual support in Palestinian society. The memorandum includes sponsoring a family home at SOS Children’s Villages, which provides children with a safe and stable family environment, in addition to supporting families benefiting from the Family Strengthening Programme, helping them overcome economic and social challenges and maintain family cohesion while caring for their children within their natural families.
The General Manager of the Arab Islamic Bank, Mr. Hani Nasser, said:
“This agreement is a continuation of the ongoing partnership with SOS Children’s Villages, and reflects the bank’s commitment to its developmental and humanitarian role toward Palestinian society. Guided by its CSR strategy, the bank continues to support sustainable initiatives that strengthen social cohesion and empower the most vulnerable groups, creating a positive and lasting impact on society.”
He added:
“We believe that partnerships with national institutions that have a strong social impact are a key pillar for achieving sustainable development. We are therefore proud to continue our cooperation with SOS Children’s Villages, contributing to its humanitarian mission and programs aimed at serving Palestinian children and families.”
For her part, Mrs.Hirzallah, expressed deep appreciation to the Islamic Arab Bank for this meaningful initiative, affirming that this support reflects a genuine commitment to social responsibility and contributes to strengthening the stability of children without parental care and supporting families benefiting from the Family Strengthening Programme amid difficult circumstances. She added that sponsoring a family home at SOS Children’s Villages represents a direct investment in providing a safe and supportive environment for children, enabling them to grow within a stable family setting that ensures protection, care, and better opportunities for their future.
