SOS Children's Villages Palestine held its closing ceremony on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in Bethlehem. The event was attended by representatives of government ministries, partner organizations, and civil society institutions, in addition to a number of SOS Children’s Villages Palestine staff.

As part of its efforts to enhance its community initiatives and their sustainable impact on Palestinian society, Al Mashreq Insurance’s General Manager, Mr. Nihad Assad, welcomed the National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Palestine, Ms. Ghada Hirzallah, and a distinguished delegation at Al Mashreq headquarters to renew the sponsorship of the house that Al Mashreq Insurance supports in the village. For the third year, the company sponsors the expenses of a home for five children and their caregiver, covering their needs out of belief in the noble mission of the SOS Children’s Village.

Arab Bank recently renewed its collaboration agreement with SOS Children's Villages Palestine, which for this year includes providing additional support through sponsoring two homes in the village. This comes as part of the bank's belief in the importance of providing ongoing support for social initiatives aimed at providing care and a decent life for children without family care, as part of the Arab Bank's social responsibility program "Together".

The event included recreational activities and special events, concluding with the distribution of gifts that brought joy to the children's faces.

Recreational activities are not just playtime; they provide a space for healing, building confidence, and restoring childhood. In times of crisis, supporting children goes beyond providing basic needs—it extends to psychosocial and emotional care, helping them recover, cope, and overcome challenges.
